Nermin Begovich - Accordion, Classical guitar and Vocals

 

Nermin was born in former Yugoslavia At the age of 9, he began learning how to play accordion in the local school of music.  After moving to the USA in 2005 as a music therapist, Nermin continued to play accordion and has been actively playing the instrument ever since. In May 2003, he completed his guitar studies at Austin Peay State University (APSU), located in Clarksville, TN.

Nermin was member of the Irish/American contra dance band,

The Nashville Weather,  as well as the Latin romantic ensemble, Serenata, the Bulgarian folk group, Tantsova Grupa.  

Currently. He is active performing Balkan music with Natchez Thrace as well as German/Austrian/Swiss/USA polka music with

Ãœberkreiner.

Nermin is actively performing a wide variety of musical styles as a soloist, on both classical guitar and accordion. His music repertoire includes: French accordion music (musette), folk music from Greece,

Italian music (also sing in Italian), Irish music, Hungarian music, Wienna Strauss waltzes, American standards (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin ...etc.), folk music from Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway).

Nermin is specialized in entertaining a small and large groups of people playing his accordion/classical guitar for parties, weddings, birthdays, festivals, restaurants, hotels ....etc.
